Agatha Harkness is back!

Disney+ dropped the first trailer for Agatha All Along, a spinoff of the WandaVision series, and it gave a glimpse at horror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as confirmed the fate of a beloved character.

The upcoming series picks up after the events of WandaVision. In the 2021 series, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) puts antagonist Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) under a spell that prevents her from using magic and traps her in her "Agnes" persona.

In the new show, Agatha regains her freedom with the help of a mysterious teen and together, they embark on a magical journey on the legendary Witches' Road, a gauntlet of trails that rewards a witch with what they're missing.

What happened to Wanda?

The trailer for the series gave a glimpse of how Agatha regained her identity and even showed what happened to the Scarlet Witch.

The last time fans saw the Scarlet Witch was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), as she gets corrupted by the Darkhold. In a last-minute change of heart, Wanda collapsed a temple on herself.

In the first seconds of the teaser, Agatha (or Agnes) is a detective investigating a murder. The body looked akin to Wanda's as the fingers of the unidentified person had black fingers.

When the titular character goes into a morgue she picks up a library card with the name "W. Maximoff" next to the Oct. 13 entry.

Suddenly, a character (played by Aubrey Plaza) appears to talk to the confused Agnes, saying, "Is this really how you see yourself? That witch is gone, leaving you trapped in her distorted spell. Claw your way out."

The rest of the trailer shows Agatha's witch powers returning and gathering a coven together to take on the Witches' Road.

Agatha All Along stars Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.
