'Spider-Man: No Way Home' is now available for digital purchase in the Philippines
Filipinos can now officially (and legally) watch Marvel's latest film from the comfort of their homes.
Three months after its cinematic release, Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available for digital purchase in the Philipines via iTunes and Google Play.
In case you've done the heroic deed of staying away from spoilers until its streaming release, the film follows Tom Holland's Peter Parker as he navigates a world where his superhero identity has been revealed. The film stars Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Battalion, Benedict Cumberbatch, and a lot more fan favorites.
Here's where and how you can now get your own digital copy of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
iTunes
iTunes users can now get their own copy of No Way Home through the film's official iTunes Philippines page.
To purchase, simply click on the "Watch on Apple TV" button and the site will lead to your device's Apple TV app. From there, you can purchase or rent a copy for P599 and pay via your Apple ID account.
Credit and debit cards, eWallet services, and registered mobile postpaid plans are accepted Apple ID payment methods.
Once the purchase is completed, users will be free to watch the film in 4K via iPhone, iPad, PC, or whatever device they have an Apple TV account logged on.
Google Play
Google Play is also offering the film on its website for P799 for standard definition (SD) quality and P1,020 for HD.
According to their website, HD purchases only play on HD-compatible devices, while SD lets you watch the film on any device using Google Play. Playback is also only available via the Chrome browser.
Payment is available via credit and debit card, GCash, PayMaya, or PayPal.
Meanwhile, Spidey fans looking to grab a physical copy via DVD or BluRay will have to wait until April 12, 2022. Sony has also released an extended preview of the No Way Home's first ten minutes on YouTube.
