Chris Brown gets stuck mid-air during performance

Chris Brown got stuck in mid-air during his concert in New Jersey.

The incident happened while he was performing his 2019 hit Under the Influence as part of his 11:11 Tour when his suspension wires had a glitch. According to a report by PEOPLE, he was meant to hover above the arena but not longer than expected.

A fan video uploaded on TikTok showed Brown hanging upside down during the performance.

Despite the apparent difficulty, Brown sang as usual though was looking off-stage from time to time.

Another fan video showed crew members carrying a large ladder on stage for Brown's use while he unhooked the wires from his waist.

Upon coming down, he appeared to have told something to the crew and was visibly annoyed. In any case, he carried on with his performance and even approached some of his fans near the stage.

Several social media users commended Brown's response to the situation.

"He handled it SO professionally," one user said.

"And them vocals are still on point!!!" said another.

"He was mad, but he continued. That’s an ICON!!" an Internet user commented.

Others, meanwhile, poked fun at Brown's state.

"I like how he’s just hanging there like an angry fairy," one user said with a tears of joy emoji.

"Imagine the chaos going on backstage tryna find the ladder," another user commented.

Brown, who's also a dancer, rose to fame in the aughts. His music has hip-hop and pop influences.
