LOOK: Pinoy cosplay group brings 'Valorant' characters to life in grand photoshoot
With the COVID-19 pandemic still gripping the world, a lot of people are keeping themselves busy with hobbies as a distraction from all the stress and madness of real life.
One hobby that has boomed worldwide is playing video games, and one of the most popular ones in the Philippines right now is Valorant.
The free-to-play first-person shooter game released in 2020 recently had its second anniversary in June, and rising Filipino cosplay group New Game+ is celebrating their love for the game by bringing their favorite characters to life through a grand photoshoot.
Formed by talented cosplayers who love geeking out together, the group prides itself with their great chemistry and fun-loving personalities as they each excel in their own craft while working together.
Performer and host Justine Narciso, dressed up as Neon, a Manila-born agent who serves as Valorant's 18th character. Equipped with electric powers and a confident pose, Neon was released back in January 11 as part of game's update, Episode 4: Disruption.

New Game+ highlighted that they couldn't have done the shoot without the help of sponsors and fellow artists, as well as their team of photographers, videographers, music producers, wig stylists and props makers.
The group said that they plan to have more projects soon and have an original music video in the making.
If you're eager to know more about them, you can get a chance to meet them at CONquest at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay happening on July 23 to 24. The weekend-long festival will celebrate all things gaming, technology, anime and pop culture in the metro.
Aside from cosplay, visitors can expect to see the hottest college esports rivalries, try out the newest games and gadgets, enjoy live music, attend educational industry panels, shop from art and merchandise booths, and much more.
