Attention, gamers: PlayStation is celebrating its 30th anniversary with limited edition products

Calling all gamers!

Popular gaming console PlayStation is releasing limited edition products in celebration of its 30th anniversary, and even Pinoy gamers can pre-order them soon.

In a blog post, the brand said its PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection pays homage to 30 wonderful years of gaming, "a journey made possible by the passion and support of our fans and talented game developers."

Its PS5 hardware products will utilize the console's original color design from Dec. 3, 1994.

The brand is offering a bundle consisting of either the PS5 Pro or PS5 Digital Edition console, a vertical stand, and collector's items like the original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing, four shapes cable ties, stickers, a poster from one out of the 30 possible designs, and a paperclip.

The brand is also launching a separate portable remote player and wireless controller.

The collection will be up on Nov. 21, with only 12,300 units of the PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle available. The units will have limited edition numbers representing the month and date of the first PlayStation console launch.

Pre-orders of all items will start on Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. local time in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

As for the Philippines and Vietnam, only the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller and DualSense Wireless Controller are available for preorder.

PlayStation was launched in Japan in December 1994, and then other parts of the world in September 1995. Known for games like Final Fantasy 7 and Tekken, it became the first console to ship a hundred million units in 2005.
