Based on Cressida Cowell's 2003 book, How to Train Your Dragon tells the adventure of two unlikely best friends, Hiccup and Toothless.
Hiccup is a misfit teen in the Viking village of Berk where people fight with dragons for a living. His dream to become a true Viking changed when he met Toothless, an injured dragon. The two became best friends and managed to change the longstanding feud between the Vikings and the dragons.
The first film of the same title was released in 2010 and was followed by another one released in 2014. The latest film, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, came out in 2019. It also spawned three television series, namely DreamWorks Dragons, Rescue Riders, and The Nine Realms, as well as a short film titled Dragons: Gift of the Night Fury.
