Sad news for K-pop fans...

EPICON 2023, the hotly anticipated concert that would stage K-pop stars from the first to fourth generations, has been postponed to a later date.

Local organizer Neuwave Events & Productions cited "unforeseen circumstances" in their announcement on Wednesday, March 22, without getting into detail about what happened.

Apologizing for the sudden delay, they said: "From the very start, we did our best to make this EPICON happen, and we planned to give a great concert experience to everyone. However, the circumstance we are now in is beyond our control."

"We want to reassure you that we will do everything in our capacity to make sure that the rescheduled event will be an unforgettable experience for all of us. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time," they added.

Prior to the postponement, the organizers canceled the pre-sale and the official ticket sale on March 18 and 19, respectively.

Neuwave Events & Productions stressed that they will keep K-pop fans updated about the upcoming affair, which was initially scheduled on April 1 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. It will feature then 2NE1 stars Sandara Park and Minzy, with the former serving as the event’s host and the latter as a performer.
