Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez to headline fundraising concert for artists

Calling all Regine Velasquez fans!

The Asia's Songbird is set to headline an upcoming fundraising concert Open Doors, which will put the spotlight on an ensemble of talented Filipino artists including Velasquez as well as the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philippine Madrigal Singers, Alice Reyes Dance Philippines, Steps Dance Studio, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Markki Stroem, Soprano Lara Maigue, and Poppert Bernardas. 

The musical affair will also showcase special appearances from National Artists Alice Reyes and Ryan Cayabyab.

Proceeds from the anniversary show will go to community art groups so they can access more world-class spaces.

"We believe that the opportunity to perform on a stage such as ours will not only boost creativity but also broaden artistic dreams and ambitions," said Christopher Mohnani, Director of the Samsung Performing Arts Theater 

"It all begins when someone opens the door," he added.

The concert will be held on Friday, July 14 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati.
