Jake Zyrus cozies up with 'RuPaul's Drag Race' star Valentina in a teaser for Fil-Am singer Troy Laureta's upcoming MV
A collab we didn't see coming!
Fil-Am singer Troy Laureta is gearing up to premiere his latest music video for the song Kung Kita'y Kapiling, and he's got two LGBTQ+ artists starring in it: Jake Zyrus and RuPaul's Drag Race queen Valentina.
"Abangan ninyo po! Y'all kilig or what?" Laureta captioned on a photo of the two featured stars getting cozy.
The non-binary drag queen commented hearts on the post and shared the teaser on her IG stories.
Zyrus has previously collaborated with Laureta for songs, including their 2021 song Usahay. The Fil-Am artist also served as a producer for the trans singer's Fix Me music video.
Valentina rose to fame after competing on the ninth season of RuPaul's Drag Race where she was crowned Miss Congeniality/Fan Favorite. She has shown off her singing chops, too, when she starred as Angel in Fox's Rent: Live.
Kung Kita'y Kapiling is part of Laureta's Giliw, Vol. 2 album, an OPM collective featuring Filipino and Fil-Am artists like Nicole Shcherzinger, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Jona, Jake Zyrus, and Boy Abunda.
The music video featuring the two queer icons drops on Jan. 28.
