The Fab 5 of ‘Queer Eye’ get their own LEGO makeover
Calling all Queer Eye fans! Starting Oct. 1, you can experience and recreate the show’s makeover transformations with this fabulous LEGO Queer Eye-The Fab 5 Loft set.
Toy company LEGO recently revealed that their new LEGO set features the Fab 5—Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown and Tan France.

The 974-piece set comes with mini-figures of the Fab 5, Bruley the dog, and two mini-figures of a before-and-after version of Kathi Dooley, one of the show’s “Heroes” in Season 4 and Van Ness high school teacher. This set allows fans to experience and recreate the makeover transformation of Dooley as it also features a transformation chamber.
The set is based on the Fab 5’s original Atlanta loft in Seasons 1 and 2. It features a kitchen island, clothing rack, salon chair and couch. The design scheme of the LEGO set is approved by Berk, who also helped in designing the LEGO set’s interior. It also measures over 9-cm. high, 35-cm. wide, and 21-cm. deep.
LEGO Group VP of Design and lead designer of the set Matthew Ashton said that he worked closely with the Fab 5 and is proud of the collaboration and what it stands for, saying, “Queer Eye has had such a positive impact on so many people’s lives which is why we are excited about this collaboration. It reminds us that we need to take time to celebrate kindness and help build each other up. In this set, we’ve captured themes central to both the LEGO Group and the show – caring, creativity, learning, and fun. While the Fab Five rebuild people’s lives, we are on a mission to inspire people to get creative and help rebuild a more positive world.”
He also added that the biggest challenge in creating the LEGO set is Tan’s hair. “Tan was the biggest challenge. We didn’t have an element that did his gorgeous hair justice, so we had to make an entirely new wig element—in shimmering silver of course!”
The LEGO Queer Eye-The Fab 5 Loft set is priced at $99.99 (P5,000.00) and will be available globally from Oct. 1 on LEGO’s site, LEGO stores, and select retail stores.
