V is part of BTS, which is known as one of the biggest K-pop groups in the industry for dominating music charts, selling out albums and live shows, and garnering a massive fanbase known as ARMY. Their hit songs include Dynamite, Butter, and RUN, among others.
As a solo artist, V made his acting debut in 2016 as a cast member of the historical K-drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, where he played the role of the mischievous Hansung. He then collaborated with bandmate Jin on the duet single It's Definitely You for the show's soundtrack.
In 2017, the group's vocalist released 4 O'Clock, a song he co-produced with his bandmate, RM. After two years, he finally released his first independent song, Scenery, through the BTS SoundCloud page, which was followed by other individual projects.
