Rejoice, bookworms: There’s now a ‘community e-library’
“Mag-ambag ayon sa kakayahan, magbasa ayon sa kagustuhan!”
Following suit with the community pantries popping up in recent days, a free-for-all ‘Community E-Library’ is now available just in time for World Book Day today, April 23.
The virtual library was initially organized on Twitter by Stefan Punongbayan (@Punongbayan_) and Alfonso Manalastas (@not_alfonso) as a way to give back to the community through PDF readings.
HOY MGA KAPITBAHAY ETO NA!!!@not_alfonso and I started this e-lib. Please read the guidelines muna before contributing.

The e-library is comprised of different genres such as Academics, Comics, Fiction, Poetry, Zines, and even board exam reviewers. To gain access to the reads, one only needs to go to the open-source Google Drive link, search through the wide array of genres, and either download or save the PDF file for yourself.
Like any community pantry, the e-library follows a “give what you can, take what you need” policy, so there’s no pressure on curious bookworms.
“Welcome to our little community e-library. We started this project to promote convenient entertainment and education in the time of COVID-19,” the site's community guidelines read.
“In this digital and tumultuous era, we believe that written resources should be shared and never gatekept.”
