WATCH: These groovy robots are better dancers than most of us
Some robots (yes, you read that right) took the spotlight online as robotics company Boston Dynamics posted a video of them getting their groove together on the dance floor.
The viral clip shows the humanoid Atlas, dog-shaped Spot, and the box-juggling Handle dancing their “hearts” out to Do You Love Me? by The Contours. While it gave some viewers a weird and creepy feeling, many were impressed by their slick moves. They were able to find the rhythm and match their energy level to the song, almost—if not exactly—as incredible human dancers do.
Even notable tech guy Elon Musk was impressed, so much so that he had to tweet it’s “not CGI” or computer-generated imagery.

In 2018, Spot stunned a lot of netizens with its dance performance of Bruno Mars hit Uptown Funk.
Dancing is just one of their many talents—they can also do backflips, wash the dishes, and even play parkour!
