How many people in the same account can watch Disney+ simultaneously?
So you're finally streaming all your favorite movies and series on Disney+, and you're sharing your subscription with your dear ones. But when you, your dad, your tita, and your boyfriend all want to watch a different thing at the same time, will everybody be able to stream as they wish?
Disney+ launched in the Philippines on Nov. 17, bringing content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more to Filipino fans. Two plans are currently offered by the streamer: a mobile plan and a premium plan. While only one user at a time can watch with a mobile subscription, more devices can watch with the latter.
Under the P369 monthly premium plan, you can create up to seven profiles so each member can have their own watchlist. Moreover, up to 10 devices—smartphones, tablets, laptops, and TVs—can be logged into an account.
However, only four devices or screens can stream Disney+ simultaneously. If a fifth device tries to watch something, an error code will appear: "It looks like you've reached your device limit for streaming Disney+... To continue watching, please stop streaming on another device (Error Code 75)."
Should you get this message, you can coordinate shifts for streaming or ask them to watch the same shows/movies at the same time together, if possible.
Even with Disney+'s Groupwatch, a feature that lets you stream content together remotely, only four profiles under the same account can watch simultaneously.
