Konami announces Yu-Gi-Oh TCG ‘Ghosts from the Past’ pack
Konami Digital Entertainment has just unveiled a new all-foil pack called Ghosts from the Past for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG).
Designated as a Collector’s Set, it contains 136 all-foil cards and is set to introduce new cards for nine current strategies as well as two brand-new strategies that duelists can explore.
It includes new cards for nine themes from the past, including the Cipher, Dragunity, and Shaddoll archetypes. It also introduces two new themes to the TCG: a mystery variant not based on the anime and the Sunavalon archetype, a Plant-type archetype used by the villain Spectre with a focus on Link Summoning.
In addition, there will be some reprinted cards, namely: the Armed Dragon LV10, Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon, Phantom Knights’ Fog Blade, and Raidraptor-Tribute Lanius. These reprints will help players come up with new strategies to take on older cards that may have higher price tags or just hard to find.
Each Ghosts' box contains three packs with five cards each. The entire set is made up of 136 cards, consisting of 45 brand new cards and 91 re-printed cards.
The new set will also bring back the highly sought after Ghost Rare rarity, with the breakdown being five Ghost Rares and 131 Ultra Rares. Five reprinted cards will be available exclusively in the Ghost Rares, including Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon.
The Ghosts from the Past pack Collector’s Set arrives in stores March 26, 2021. Konami has yet to announce the price.
