Prime Video drops teaser trailer for video game anthology series 'Secret Level'
The secret is out! Prime Video has released the teaser trailer for its new adult-animated anthology series, Secret Level.
Unveiled during the Gamescom Opening Night Live global livestream, the trailer showcases some exciting visuals that can bring delight to every sci-fi fan as it teases outlandish environments, a menacing dragon, giant robots, action-packed fight scenes—all of which are elevated by an intense score playing in the background.
"It's time. This world has waited for your arrival. It is you. You will open the door because you are the chosen. All those moments. It's a new adventure just for you," a voice narrates throughout the trailer.
Secret Level boasts 15 original short stories set within the worlds of some of the most beloved video games, with each episode leading to a new adventure.
Players can unlock exciting worlds from beloved gaming classics and highly anticipated new titles. These include Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, PAC-MAN, PlayStation (Highlighting various PlayStation Studios beloved entities), Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament, and Warhammer 40,000.
With this, the game is touted to be a "first-of-its-kind event" that brings together more game IP in a single series in history.
Secret Level comes from Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, the creators of Netflix’s first animated anthology, Love, Death + Robots. Tim Miller and Dave Wilson serve as executive producers, with Wilson also serving as supervising director.
The game will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide on Dec. 10.
