LOOK: The new Fiesta Carnival in Araneta City has modern takes on classic rides, games, and more
Araneta City has given a first look at Fiesta Carnival, which is currently on a dry run ahead of its official relaunch this December.
“Get ready to say ‘yippadeedoodoo’ because the most-awaited comeback of the Fiesta Carnival is finally happening!“ it wrote in a Facebook post on Saturday, Dec. 9, sharing some photos of the indoor amusement park.
The new Fiesta Carnival features a jump playground, roller-skating rink, bump car area, and carousel.
It also has a wide array of arcade games, including claw machine, dance machines, and so much more.
There’s even a billiard area where you can play pool with a friend.
Chicken Run and Ball Battle City are among the highlights of the reopened indoor park. The additional rides and attractions that kids and kids at heart can enjoy include Tiger Train, Happy Wheel, Speed Star, Walking Dino, Boat Pool, Jurassic Adventure, Snow Playground, Soft Playground, and Electric Carnival, among others.
Considered a mini-Disneyland in the metro, Fiesta Carnival opened in Araneta City, also known as Cubao, in 1971. It closed in the early 2000s. In December 2022, Araneta City put up a mini version of the attraction called Mini Fiesta Carnival. It also had some of the original rides and sold snacks and drinks.
Fiesta Carnival 2.0 is now open to the public. It's situated at the same establishment of the previous Shopwise Araneta Center along General Aguinaldo Avenue, corner General McArthur Avenue. It will hold its grand opening on Dec. 15.
