Apple PH reveals pricing for MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini with M1 chip
Apple Philippines has just unveiled the pricing for its new and powerful line-up of late 2020 laptops – the 13-inch MacBook Air, a 13-inch MacBook Pro, and the Mac mini – all powered by their homegrown M1 chip.
The fresh lineup of Mac machines comes powered by the new M1 chip, Apple’s first system on chip (SoC) designed for Mac. Apple claims that the 5nm ARM-based chips on the new generation of Macs has up to 3.5x faster CPU performance, up to 3.9x faster video processing, up to 7.1x faster image processing and 3x CPU performance per watt compared to the latest chips on PC laptops.
Here are the specs and prices for each variant, based on the listing at the Apple PH website:
- Mac Mini M1 (8GB + 256GB) P37,990: Apple M1 chip with 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine, 8GB unified memory, 256GB SSD storage¹, Gigabit Ethernet.
- Mac Mini M1 (8GB + 512GB) P49,990: Apple M1 chip with 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine, 8GB unified memory, 512GB SSD storage¹, Gigabit Ethernet.
- 13-inch MacBook Air M1 (8GB + 256GB) P54,990: Apple M1 chip with 8‑core CPU, 7‑core GPU, and 16‑core Neural Engine, 8GB unified memory, 256GB SSD storage¹, Retina display with True Tone, Magic Keyboard, Touch ID, Force Touch trackpad and Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports.

All these machines will run on Mac’s newest operating system (OS) called BigSur. Apple PH has yet to disclose the availability date of all three new models and their variants, but with the price reveal, it won’t be long until new units arrive on the PH market. Will you be getting one?
