See Leonardo da Vinci's masterpieces like never before at this immersive AI exhibit
One of the most significant names in the history of art is Leonardo Da Vinci. He was a man of many things—a painter, an architect, a scientist, and a sculptor who is forever immortalized, thanks to his iconic works such as the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper.
While we're no strangers to his masterpieces, this new interactive art show allows you to experience Da Vinci's works with a modern twist through the power of artificial intelligence (AI), giving you a new-found appreciation for the man with many talents.
Welcome to "Wisdom of Da Vinci: An Immersive AI Experience," a celebration of art, light, and technology made possible by a special tie-up between Bonifacio High Street and Ouchhh, an award-winning media studio based in Istanbul.
PhilSTAR L!fe had the chance to take a peek at the exhibit, which boasts large-scale data paintings ranging from audio and visual executions.

Wisdom of Da Vinci greets you with an installation called "Poetic AI," an immersive space that was made by teaching AI data the millions of lines of theory, articles, and books about light, physics, and space-time written by scientists such as Albert Einstein and Galileo Galilei.
It's a thought-provoking setup that will have you reflecting on the limitless possibility of AI in creating beautiful and hypnotizing works of wonder.
Serenaded by music
Wisdom of Da Vinci has two main sections, the first one being the "Digital Garden of Dreams" and the finale being the "Wisdom of Da Vinci."
The former is further divided into four chapters: "Atlas," "Datagate," "Say Superstrings," and a data painting experience highlighting the artworks of Filipino master Juan Luna.
In this section, you will be taken into a room with large wall-mounted mirrors that reflect images from the opposite side of the wall, which are filled with striking visuals.
"Atlas" takes inspiration from Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man and his study of the human body, while "Datagate" is a contemplation of the mysteries of the macro-universe through data gathered by the Kepler telescope, wherein more than 500,000 stars, 2,500 planets, and 60 supernovas were analyzed.
"Say Superstrings" combines the artistic wonder of music and movement. The changing landscape synchronizes with the soulful music from the Manila Symphony Orchestra, creating a mesmerizing experience.
The last part reimagines Juan Luna's artistic journey through AI-generated landscapes that will take you through his most famous masterpieces, such as the Spoliarium, The Battle of Lepanto, and more.
360-degree of Da Vinci
The immersive showcase has a fitting finale in the form of a 360-degree display that explores the various works and achievements of Da Vinci, alongside other visual masters such as Vincent van Gogh.
"Wisdom of Da Vinci" was created using data from various historical images, starting with machine sketches, invention plants, and paintings of the Italian polymath.
Using 15 billion brushstrokes obtained from analyzing 20,000 renditions of paintings throughout history, the AI system transforms the entire space into a fascinating memory of Da Vinci, enhanced by stimulating music from world-famous composer Ludovico Einaudi.
The exhibit will run starting Aug. 5 up until October at the 3rd Level, One Bonifacio High Street, 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Tickets are priced at P780 for students and P975 for adults. There is also a discounted price for seniors and PWDs at P695. You may get yours here.
