Kristen Stewart is set to star in a new vampire film—over a decade after the release of Twilight.

According to a report by Variety, the actress is confirmed to be part of the thriller film titled Flesh of the Gods, which is set in the “glittery 80s” in Los Angeles. She will star in the movie alongside Oscar Isaac, who is best known for his roles in Dune, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Ex Machina, among others.

The upcoming offering will follow the story of married couple Raoul (Isaac) and Alex (Stewart), who dive into an electric nighttime realm of ’80s LA. After crossing paths with a “mysterious and enigmatic woman and her hard-partying cabal,” the couple find themselves drawn into a “glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills, and violence.”

Flesh of the Gods will be directed by Panos Cosmatos, who helmed the 2018 trippy action-horror film Mandy starring Nicholas Cage. Meanwhile, Isaac, Adam McKay, and Betsy Koch will serve as the film's producers.

Additional details, including other cast members and release date, are yet to be announced. The production is also slated to begin filming this year.

Kristen became famous for her roles in Twilight films. She recently starred in a thriller-crime film Love Lies Bleeding with Katy O’Brian.
