Filipino fans showed how much they love and appreciate Thai actor Tor Thanapob, who flew all the way to the Philippines for his much-awaited fan meeting held on Aug. 13 at the SM North EDSA Skydome, organized by Wish Us Luck.

The loud cheers and the unwavering energy that Filipinos displayed were enough to make Thanapob emotional at the event. The overwhelming love touched his heart, and he made sure to reciprocate that support by telling his fans that he would love to come back to the Philippines again and again and again.

Because of his performances in notable dramas and films such as HormonesProject S: The Series, Man of Vengeance, and The Last Promise, Thanapob quickly pierced through the hearts of viewers and became a cherished actor among Filipino Thai-drama fans.

During a brief chat with the press before the main event, the actor was asked about his first-ever trip to the Philippines.

"I haven't been here before so I was so excited and at the same time, also very nervous. But I'm so happy to meet my Filipino fans here in the Philippines, so I'm glad to be here," he gushed.

While he couldn't stay for long, some of the famous tourist attractions that he would love to visit some other time are the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, the white sand beaches of Boracay, and the breathtaking views of Puerto Princesa.

During the interview part of his fan meet, the actor was about the first dish he tried when he arrived in the country, to which he revealed that he enjoyed some liempo for dinner.

But beautiful sights and delicious food aren't the only things that the Philippines has been loved for. It also has some very talented faces in the entertainment industry, and if there's one artist that Thanapob would like to share a project with in the future, it would be the undisputed kings of P-pop.

"I would love to work with the idol band, SB19. If I have a chance, it would be them. I love Pablo's voice so much," he said.

His admiration for the boy band was evident during his fan meeting, given how he serenaded his fans with a performance of SB19's song Mapa while clad in a Barong Tagalog.

It can't be denied just how much passion Thanapob has for his craft. As he highlighted when PhilSTAR L!fe asked him what inspires him to excel in his career, he said: "I just know what I love, and I try to do my best in what I love."

On what he would like to tell his fans who are there for him in every step of his journey, Thanapob said, "Thank you for liking all of my projects and I hope you keep supporting me on my next, next, next projects."

Thanapob started his career by performing in music videos like It's Time to Listen by Da-Endorphine before debuting as one of the members of the Thai boy group Nine by Nine in 2018.

He was eventually cast in the popular Thai TV show, Hormones, which became his first notable role in the entertainment scene.
