As the 2024 Paris Olympics came to an end, the logo for the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics is making the rounds online anew.

The Brand Inquirer, which posts graphic design updates, shared the "dynamic, ever-changing" logo for LA28, which was first unveiled in 2020.

"The emblem features a bold sans serif and a dynamic A, constantly changing, reflecting the diverse creativity of Los Angeles," it said.

Homegrown typographer Jeremy Mickel was the one behind the type.

Over 20 athletes and celebrities designed the "A" in the logo, including singer Billie Eilish, graffiti artist Chaz Bojórquez, actress Reese Witherspoon, Olympic medalist figure skater Adam Rippon, and multimedia artist Alex Israel.

Los Angeles is hosting the Olympic Games for the third time. It previously hosted the Games in 1984 and 1932.

It's the first time it would host the Paralympic Games, where athletes with physical disabilities—including mobility impairments, amputations, blindness, and cerebral palsy—participate.

The LA Olympic Games opening ceremony is slated for July 14, 2028. The LA Paralympic Games opening ceremony, meanwhile, is on Aug. 15, 2028.

Over 10,700 athletes participated in Paris 2024, including 22 Filipinos.

The 2024 Paris Olympics marked the Philippines' hundredth year of participation and was its most successful Olympic outing to date, with a haul of four medals.

Gymnast Carlos Yulo bagged the country's historic double gold in men's vault and men's floor exercise, while boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas each got bronze in the women's 57kg and 50kg division, respectively.
