‘Ulirang Tita’ celebrates nephew's graduation at food court with three security guards
Annel Ramones racked up the social trends yet again after sharing a series of photos celebrating her nephew’s graduation at a shopping mall’s foodcourt accompanied by three security guards.
In her Facebook post published on Sunday, July 10, Ramones wore her iconic black oversized straw hat paired with black satin gloves alongside her nephew, Miggy, as they ate at SM City Bacoor’s foodcourt.
But what generated buzz on her post was the newest addition to her ‘ulirang tita’ skit: security guards from the mall.
Ramones shared with PhilSTAR L!fe that the SM team reached out to her for a photoshoot where they would be seemingly celebrating her nephew’s graduation.
“Kunyari daw nag-cecelebrate kami ng graduation niya. Originally dapat kami lang [dalawa] ang i-shoot, eh yung pinsan/bodyguard ko may lakad on that day. So, nag-suggest ako sa SM team na baka pwede manghatak ng SM guards para mas mukang legit and may bagong characters ulit. Thankfully, game na game naman sila sa kalokohan ko na idea,” she said.
Ramones added that it was supposed to be just her in the photoshoot, but she told Miggy to tag along for the experience.
“Dapat talaga ako lang daw yung i-shoot, pero sinama ko na din siya para naman ma-expose naman siya sa ganitong type ng shoots! And of course, para ma-experience niya din,” she said.
When asked about her nephew’s reaction to the entire photoshoot, Ramones said, “Nag-enjoy naman siya. Hindi lang halata sa [picture].”
Apart from her own photos, Ramones also shared a TikTok video produced by SM Foodcourt where it was made to look like she was starring in a star-studded telenovela. She shared it with the caption, “Whahaha!!! dogshow kau SM huh,, xuta kyoh 😭”
Last month, Ramones’ ‘ulirang tita’ post where she attended her nephew’s online recognition and was joined by a “bodyguard” who was actually her cousin also went viral.
Her latest viral post with SM guards reached 54,000 reactions and 8,600 shares as of writing.
