Rogue robot army rampages in sci-fi film 'Monsters of Man'
Imagine a team of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered robots so advanced that it eventually replaces soldiers on today’s modern battlefield. Less humans lives at risk right? Wrong.
A cool, futuristic approach to modern warfare goes awry in sci-fi action film Monsters of Man.
Directed by Mark Toia, the film combines non-stop action with powerful special effects to explore AI, human corruption and the terrifying possibilities of future warfare — starring Neal McDonough, Jose Rosete, Jessica Blackmore, and Kayli Tran.
“In a terrifying vision of AI gone wrong, sci-fi thriller Monsters of Man reveals the consequences of unchecked power and robots who have advanced beyond human control. When a corrupt CIA agent (McDonough) teams up with a robotics company to deploy an illegal, unsanctioned military operation, the plan is to drop four prototype robots into a suspected drug manufacturing camp in the Golden Triangle that no one will miss. But all goes horribly awry when six American volunteer doctors witness the brutal slaughter of an innocent village and are forced into a deadly game of cat and mouse as they become the next targets,” the synopsis states.
Now, that’s definitely one amazing sci-fi film you shouldn’t want to miss. Monsters of Man will be released straight to video on Dec. 8, 2020.
