Max Philippines: Everything you need to know about the streaming service, including cost
HBO hits like House of the Dragon and The Last of Us are all the rage, but they're missing from your favorite streaming platform. Here's some good news: streaming service Max will be available in the Philippines starting Nov. 19.
This means you can enjoy shows from HBO, Harry Potter, the DC Universe, Cartoon Network, Max Originals, Discovery, TLC, Asian Food Network, Food Network, Investigation Discovery, and HGTV—all in one platform!
Aside from the Philippines, Max will also be available in other Asian countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. To date, the service is only available in the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

What to watch
Dune fans will get to watch the premiere of HBO Original Dune: Prophecy from the expanded universe of Dune on Nov. 19. The series stars Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, and Mark Strong.
Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.
In addition, Max will feature "culture-defining programming" such as Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, Friends, The Last of Us, and The White Lotus.
The latest series, including The Sex Lives of College Girls, The Penguin, and The Franchise, will also be available on the streaming platform.
Moreover, fans of Discovery, TLC, AFN, Food Network, ID, and HGTV’s real-life programming can look forward to new seasons of Deadliest Catch, Gold Rush, Naked and Afraid, 90 Day Fiancé, Dr. Pimple Popper, and Property Brothers.
Potterheads and Ringers can also access the complete Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings movie collections as Max will also include movies from Warner Bros., Paramount, and NBCUniversal.
More recent films like Oppenheimer, Fast X, The Fall Guy, Despicable Me 4, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Expend4bles, IF, Trolls Band Together, Mission: Impossible—Dead Reckoning, and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts can also be accessed.
For kids and kids at heart, Max will also showcase all-time favorite kid's shows, such as Batwheels, LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising, Grizzy, Lemmings: World Tour, and Barney's World.
The first show from the new DC Studios, the adult animated series Creature Commandos, written and executive produced by James Gunn, will also premiere on the streaming platform on Dec. 5.
