I’m Drunk, I Love You, the 2017 Filipino romantic indie film about unrequited love, is finally coming to Netflix, along with other titles from TBA Studios.

The film production company announced via social media on Tuesday that five more of its critically-acclaimed movies will be joining the streaming platform this coming August to September.

The 2017 psychological thriller Bliss by Jerrold Tarog starring Iza Calzado and Ian Veneracion and 2016 award-winning documentary Sunday Beauty Queen by Baby Ruth Villarama will be arriving first on the streamer this coming Sunday, August 15.

Sunday Beauty Queen follows a group of expatriate domestic workers in Hong Kong as they prepare to take part in an annual beauty pageant.

JP Habac’s pandemic-era internet love story Dito At Doon (Here and There), starring JC Santos and Janine Gutierrez,  which was originally released earlier this year locally, will make its worldwide debut starting September 2.

The iconic romcom I’m Drunk, I Love You, also directed by Habac, arrives on Netflix on September 15. The film tells the story of two best friends, Carson (Maja Salvador) and Dio (Paulo Avelino), and the former’s seven-year-long unrequited love for the latter.

Meanwhile, the 2017 Raya Martin mystery drama Smaller and Smaller Circles, based on the novel of the same name, will drop on the streamer late next month, starting September 21.

While Dito at Doon (Here and There) will debut on Netflix globally, the four other films from TBA Studios will start streaming only for local subscribers of Netflix Philippines in the coming weeks.

TBA Studios is the Philippine independent production company behind acclaimed period biopics Heneral Luna and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral, which were made accessible on streaming platform Netflix.
