Would you buy this extra-luxe AirPods Max for P5.2 million?
If you think that Apple’s AirPod Max could cost you an arm and a leg, wait till you hear about Caviar's extra-lavish version of the headphones. You might need to exchange your condo unit for it, too.
The Russian label famous for producing high-end variants of popular tech gadgets has released a rendition of 2020’s most talked-about headphones adorned in 750 grams of shiny 18-carat gold.
Arriving in white and black iterations, the headsets were built with gold speaker cups inscribed with the luxury brand’s logo.
The bridge of the AirPods Max was revamped with crocodile leather base and its foldable hinges were embellished with Caviar-fied gold rings.
"It is impossible to look away from this innovative and splendid device created for those who value their uniqueness and want to always be on top,” the brand said.
They’re out to make heads turn, indeed. Not only are these dressed-up AirPods Max fetching, but they also come with a jaw-dropping price of $180,000 USD or P5,184,486 on its website.
Lucky for interested Pinoy shoppers, Caviar ships this exclusive item worldwide (excluding taxes and duties).
Apart from its design, the rest of Caviar’s AirPods Max has the same features—high-fidelity audio, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, and Spatial Audio—as that of Apple’s minimalist headsets.
Apple launched the AirPods Max on Dec. 9, 2020, at a price of $549 in the US or P32,990 on the Apple PH website.
