Start your engines: ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race PH’ to premiere in August with Jiggly Caliente as one of the judges
It’s time for Filipino drag queens to show their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.
World of Wonder confirmed that the local franchise of the hit reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race is set to premiere on August 17, with season four and All Stars 6 contestant Jiggly Caliente as one of the judges.
A Filipino franchise of the Drag Race’s spinoff show Untucked will also premiere on the same date. The spinoff revolves around the contestants’ behind-the-scenes conversations in the infamous green room where tension, tea, and drama usually happen.

Caliente told Entertainment Weekly that she’s “overjoyed in a major major way” to join the judging panel of RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines.
“There is a fierce Filipino drag scene and I am proud to be returning to my home country in this new role as a Drag Race judge to shine a spotlight on these incredible artists to the world, or the universe, rather. Pak! Mabuhay, Drag Race,” Caliente was quoted as saying.
Details about the show’s host, which was teased through a silhouette shot and voiceover, and the celebrity judges are yet to be revealed, as of this writing.
RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines will premiere on the streaming service WOW Presents Plus.
