It's that time of the year again, which of these brands got you really good?

April 1st is the day everyone gets a free pass to pull pranks—of course, not those pregnancy scares, mental health problems, or fake delivery bookings.

This year, brands have pulled off various April Fool’s marketing strategies that brought laughter to netizens. Ahead, check out some of the brands that joined in the fun this Fool’s day.

Dunkin'

Dunkin’s April Fool’s day entry might have caused “panic” for coffee lovers. In their post they wrote: “We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, we will no longer serving coffee."

“We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you'll still come visit Dunkin' this April Fools Day,” they concluded, with the hashtags: #DunkinPHCoffeeNoMore #DunkinPHOUTOFSTOCK

The post garnered over 20,000 laugh reactions, one user wrote: “My BP spiked up... Then remembered its april fools.”

Sunlight Air

Ever wondered how it feels to sit on a plane—Filipino jeepney style?

Sunlight Air poked fun at the netizens with differently designed plane chairs.

"Travelers can now enjoy our flights in a different angle!" they wrote in the caption.

"Inspired by the beloved Filipino jeepneys, our new 90-degree seat configuration doesn’t just offer maximum comfort but also the largest legroom! Say goodbye to cramped spaces and lack of wiggle room during flights. Just rest, relax, and stretch your legs to your heart’s content!"

"Step into the future of flying with Sunlight Air. Coming very soon," they concluded in their post.

The airline also invited netizens to know more about the "innovative feature" on this link, welcoming them with an April Fool's greeting.

Easy Rock

Unlike most of the April Fool's day entries, Easy Rock, a long-running radio station entry for this day garnered mostly sad reactions as they pranked on getting off-air after 13 years.

"96.3 Easy Rock is now signing off," they wrote in their "statement."

"We've been together at-work and on the road for the last 13 years, and it has always been our pleasure to serve you your favorite lite and easy hits," they continued.

"Thank you for making us part of your everyday lives," they concluded. Most of the users became sad, one user commented: "You made me cry, Nick! But I forgot, it's April fool's day."

"Almost got [me] good. I just remembered today is April 1... Love music. Love easy rock..." another user commented.

In a separate post, the radio station wrote: "Izza Prank!  Happy April Fool’s Day!"

The radio station also assured their listeners to stay on-air "forever."

"Of course, we’re not going! We’re here to stay forever (kahit na walang forever) #AprilFoolsDay."

Pizza Hut

Starting the grilled balut series, Pizza Hut, one of the famous pizza chains in the country just announced their newest flavor, a grilled balut stuffed crust pizza.

"FOMO [Fear Of Missing Out] no mo’! We’re bringing Grilled Balut Stuffed Crust pizza to your doors," they wrote. They also added that the "promo" comes with free skewers to "make tusok the itlogs."
Garnering over 60,000 laugh reactions, the fast food chain easily pulled off the harmless prank. A user wrote: "Thanks for reminding not to believe everything today."
Potato Corner

French fry lovers, rejoice (or not?)!

Potato Corner also rode with the grilled balut trend on their fries.

"Shake things up with Pinoy Kick! Introducing our limited-time offer, Grilled Balut flavored fries! Get some! Only available today, April 1st!" they wrote in the caption.

Riding the fun, netizens inquire and suggest twists for the "new flavor," one user wrote: "Dapat may chili garlic oil yan."

"with sprinkled egg shells?" another user wrote.

Macao Imperial Tea

What happens if you put balut on milk tea?

Macao Imperial Tea pranked netizens with their Grilled Balut & Pearl Milk Tea flavor.

"Balut meets boba," they wrote. "Ready for a flavor adventure? Try our latest addition to our menu: Grilled Balut and Pearl Milk Tea combines the creaminess of milk tea with the savory goodness of grilled balut bits. Don't miss out!"

With this unlikely combination, the post garnered over 20,000 laugh reactions, with netizens riding the prank.

"This is my new favorite, especially the boba made from the sisiw inside the balut!" one user commented.

Another user also inquired if there are other variants, "May grilled milk tea po ba?"

McDonald's Philippines

McDonald's Philippines' prank might have helped you or your indecisive friends decide where to eat.

"Forda friends mong matagal mag-decide, this April 1st onli," they wrote.

On the "new product label" launch, the usual packaging labels were replaced with the common response whenever someone was being asked what or where to eat: a box of nuggets is labeled, "Kahit Ano," while a burger packaging has a "'Kaw Bahala" label.

A box of chicken packaging was replaced with "Teka Wait," while the spaghetti packaging has "Iniisip Ko Pa" label.
