Lucky fans who caught the special trailer premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home went wild in a packed theater in Los Angeles, while social media was abuzz with all things Spidey on Tuesday (Nov. 16).

Top trending topics on Twitter following the second trailer’s release included #SpiderManNoWayHome, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Doc Ock, Zendaya, and more.

Tom Holland himself attended the trailer’s premiere at the fan event in Los Angeles, the first public screening of the new footage, where the atmosphere was visibly electric.

Some media outlets, including IGN, captured the audience reaction as the trailer was unveiled for the first time.

Holland made a surprise appearance to present the trailer to the packed audience. Guided by panel host Coy Jandreau, Holland was reportedly moved to tears after the trailer played.

In a video shared to the Phase Zero account, Holland described how overwhelming the experience of playing the character of Peter Parker has been for him and to see the fan's reactions.

"To see it play out on the big screen is so rewarding. And to see your reaction means that we're doing something right. And trust me when I say, that is the the tip of the iceberg. There's so much more," Holland said eliciting cheers from fans.

Naturally, fans at home took to social media to share their reactions to the epic trailer, with many pointing out the visible absence of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions of Spider-Man.

However, others pointed out that seeing iconic villains like Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, and Lizard onscreen were enough.

Other fans zeroed in on Emma Stone's version of Gwen Stacy and her heartbreaking fall, with some speculating a possible redemption arc for Andrew Garfield.

MJ's telling Doctor Strange to say "Please" also became a fan favorite, along with the Sorcere Supreme's Scooby-Doo reference.

Another possible spoiler has fans hoping for a Garfield-Maguire-Holland trinity.

Some eagle-eyed fans pointed out the appereance of Captain America's shield in the cityscape.

The trailer had MCU fans around the world analyzing the trailer as closely as they can.

The second official trailer has already racked over 5 million views on YouTube just five hours after its release online. In case you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it out in full below.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in theaters internationally on Dec. 17, 2021 and in the Philippines on Jan. 8, 2022.
