'Umbrella Academy' season 4 is premiering on August 8
The final season of Umbrella Academy is coming soon!
Netflix announced that the fourth and final season of the TV series is set to premiere on August 8, 2024. All six episodes will be available for streaming on the said date.
Posters for the upcoming series were shared on social media in which we see two versions of the beloved characters: one in their Umbrella Academy uniform and the other in an outfit they wore in the last season.
ICYDK, Umbrella Academy follows the tale of adopted siblings who have superpowers as they try to stop apocalypse after apocalypse.
The superhero team includes Luther (Tom Hopper) with superhuman strength, Diego (David Castañeda) with the ability to curve the trajectory of any object he throws, Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman who can control minds with a phrase, Klaus (Robert Sheehan) who can speak to the dead, Five (Aidan Gallagher) who can travel through space and time, Ben (Justin H. Min) who can summon tentacles from his body, and Victor who converts sound waves into physical force.
The upcoming fourth season will feature new cast members Nick Offerman, Megan Mullaly, and David Cross, while Ritu Arya and Colm Feore will also return for the last season.
The Umbrella Academy, based on the comic book series by Gerard Way, had its first season released in 2019. At the end of season 3, our heroes lost their powers after getting into a new timeline.
