Meet the cast of 'One More Chance, The Musical'

Meet your Popoy and Basha!

The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has revealed the cast for its upcoming show, One More Chance, The Musical.

Sam Concepcion and CJ Navato will star as Popoy while Anna Luna and Nicole Omillo will play Basha.

The musical, adapted from the 2007 film of the same name, originally starred John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo as longtime sweethearts Popoy and Basha. While it seemed that the couple was destined for marriage, different ambitions led them to break up. But as they start to rebuild their lives on their own, the lovers still find their way back to each other.

Other roles in the musical such as Popoy's post-breakup girlfriend Tricia will be played by Kiara Takahashi and Sheena Belarmino and the role of Basha's colleague Mark will be filled by Jef Flores and Jay Gonzaga.

Playing Popoy's friends Krizzy and Kenneth are Ada Tayao and Rica Laguardia, and Poppert Bernardas and Paji Arceo, respectively. Via Antonio and Dippy Arceo will star as Anj, with Johnnie Moran as Chinno and Jon Abella as JP.

One More Chance, The Musical will open from April 12 to June 16, 2024 and will feature songs from Pinoy folk-pop band Ben&Ben. PETA has yet to announce when tickets are available but Metrobank credit card holders get early access through a presale happening from Feb. 6 to 8.
