Kristen Stewart is engaged to Dylan Meyer—her partner of two years

Kristen Stewart has found The One in her girlfriend of two years, screenwriter Dylan Meyer. 

The actress happily announced the news in a recent interview on The Howard Stern Show. “We’re marrying. We’re totally gonna do it,” she said. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it.” 

“We’re marrying. It’s happening!” declared Stewart. 

While the engaged pair crossed paths eight years ago, it took around six years for them to rekindle their connection. According to an E! Online report, they saw each other again at their mutual friend’s birthday party. At the time, she recalled asking Meyer: “Where have you been and how have I not known you?”

Two weeks after their reunion, Stewart unhesitatingly confessed her love to Meyer one night at a bar. “Her friends were there or whatever. They walked out and I was just like, ‘Aw man, I’m so f—king in love with you. Like, done,” she said. 

They were first spotted in public in August 2019—the same year Stewart told Howard Stern in a previous interview that she “can’t f—king wait” to propose to her partner and that she already had a detailed proposal in mind.

The Hollywood star additionally revealed her desire for a simple wedding—or, in her words, a “pretty chill” one. What does this mean for her? “I want to stay home. I want to be in L.A. so everyone can come and I want it to be pretty chill. I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. Like, we’re just gonna stand, do vows.” 

“When you know, you know. You know what I mean?” she continued. “There is nothing like feeling sure about anything, because we don’t know anything, and that is the only thing you can feel like you know, is that if you’re in love with someone.”
