'Attack on Titan' final season to premiere this December

Japanese broadcasting company NHK has just announced that the fourth and final season of the widely popular Attack on Titan will premiere on December 7, 2020. Anime streaming platform Crunchyroll previously confirmed that the much-awaited finale of the anime series will launch later this year.

“Let this be your grim reminder that the epic finale of the Attack on Titan anime is on the horizon. Attack on Titan Final Seasonis officially on its way to Crunchyroll later this year,” it said.

Thousands of fans around the world have been patiently waiting for the announcement of its release date ever since the anime series’ website dropped the official trailer for Shingeki no Kyojin’s final season last May.

Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan revolves around a world where humans live in a society surrounded by high walls that serve as their protection from humanoids called ‘titans.’
