Square Enix’s ‘Tomb Raider’ reveals cookbook and travel guide cover
Fans are itching for any kind of news, especially a game sequel, for Lara Croft’s 25th anniversary.
However, instead of a remake for Tomb Raider in any of the new generation consoles or a continuation to the rebooted games, Square Enix threw that all out of the window and decided to do something more adventurous yet hearty and, well, scrumptious.
The cookbook-slash-travel guide was announced months ago and today, the cover was finally revealed by Square Enix.
We're excited to reveal the cover for Tomb Raider: The Official Cookbook & Travel Guide by @insighteditions. The book will bring home a taste of Lara's travels through carefully-researched recipes, & arm you with info for your own adventure abroad. #TR25https://t.co/cMCXcKHpiG pic.twitter.com/Pi86ZjSW8t

The cover photo shows a particular Peruvian dish called the Lomo Saltado which stems from a unique culinary tradition called Chifa. It is a hybrid food invented by Chinese immigrants who settled in Peru during the 20th century.
Here is a part of the cookbook and travel guide’s description:
“Tomb Raider: The Official Cookbook and Travel Guide is a thrilling and delicious tutorial on recipes based on the cultural history of the many locations Lara Croft has visited throughout her 25 years of global adventures—bringing the taste back home to you.”
The cookbook is set to be released by the end of October this year and will feature 40 recipes all across the Tomb Raider franchise, specifically places Lara Croft has visited herself with food and drinks inspired by the locations and characters.
The book also includes expert information on the cultural history of the many beautiful cities and countries to which she travels. Furthermore, fans can expect to see beautiful full color photography as well as stunning art from the games.
Sebastian Haley and Meagan Marie serve as the book’s text authors while the recipes are by Tara Theoharis.
