iPhone 15 series to roll out in 20 more countries this week
Apple enthusiasts worldwide are waiting in excitement as the tech giant is slated to roll out its highly anticipated iPhone 15 series in 20 additional countries this week.
According to tech outlet Apple Magazine, the list of countries and regions encompasses places like Macao, Malaysia, Turkey, Vietnam, and others.
Although the Cupertino-based conglomerate has not yet disclosed the full list of upcoming launch locations, Apple news site MacRumors noted that the latest generation of iPhone will be available in those countries on Sept. 29.
There is no official word on the availability of the latest iPhone in the Philippines just yet.
The Apple Philippines website still maintains its existing banner image without any information regarding the release date of the iPhone 15 in the country. As of today, September 26, the site continues to display "Check Back Later for Availability."
Last year, local Apple retailer Power Mac Center took to Facebook to announce that the iPhone 14 would be accessible in the Philippines starting Oct. 14, 2022, marking a 28-day interval from Apple's initial launch on September 16.
In contrast to the iPhone 14 series' launch strategy last year, Apple has ensured that all new iPhone 15 series models are available for pre-order during the initial wave of rollouts. This initial launch spanned across more than 40 countries and regions on September 22.
Maintaining this consistent approach, Apple has confirmed that all variants–the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max–will be available for order when the second wave arrives on Sept. 29.
Apple's iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models are packed with over 30 cutting-edge features and refinements, including the introduction of USB-C and Dynamic Island across all models. The premium variants also sport a fresh titanium design complemented by an innovative Action button.
