Monster Hunter Rise previews new gameplay trailers for Nintendo Switch
Lately, there’s been a lot of talk and anticipation for Monster Hunter Rise, the newest entry in Capcom’s Monster Hunter game franchise. This new title combines all the best elements of 2017’s Monster Hunter World and brings it into the more flexible hardware of the Nintendo Switch.
To hype up further excitement among franchise fans and Switch gamers alike, Monster Hunter’s official YouTube channel just uploaded new video trailers previewing two essential skills to the game (Wyvern Riding and the Wirebug) as well as a new area and all the wild monsters that come with the territory.
The first video, titled Monster Hunter Rise: Hunting 101 – Wyvern Riding, breaks down the Wyvern Riding skill, how it works and how to effectively add it to the player’s monster-hunting tactics.
The second clip, named Monster Hunter Rise: Hunting 101 – Wirebug, shows what the Wirebug skill is and how it’s an integral part of the hunter’s toolkit. It also highlights a number of mobility options and new attacks.
The last trailer, Monster Hunter Rise – Wyvern Riding Trailer, is a quick overview of the colorful Kamura Village, an all-new serene mountain locale that serves as the venue of the game. It also shows monsters like Goss Harag, Lagombi, Khezu and the Great Baggi.
Monster Hunter Rise arrives on Nintendo Switch on March 26. Pre-orders can be done at the game’s website or at participating local video game retailers.
