Marvel Studios developing new ‘Daredevil’ series for Disney Plus – report
Marvel Studios is reportedly moving forward with a new Daredevil series for Disney Plus with Charlie Cox reprising his role from the Netflix series.
Cox made a brief cameo as Matt Murdock in MCU’s Spider-Man: No Way Home while Vincent D'Onofrio who portrayed villain Kingpin in the Netflix series appeared in the Disney series Hawkeye.
As reported by Variety Friday (May 20), Matt Corman and Chris Ord have been hired to write and executive produce the show.

They co-created the USA Network series Cover Affairs, which ran for five seasons. They also most recently worked as executive producers and co-showrunners on the NBC drama shows The Enemy Within and The Brave as well as The CW series Containment.
The writers’ reps have declined to comment and Marvel Studios does not comment on projects in development, according to the original news report.
Fans have been clamoring for more Daredevil ever since the Netflix series was canceled in 2018 after three seasons. Online rumors have been circulating that the character could appear in both the Echo series, as well as She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the trailer of which just dropped earlier this week.
While no formal announcement has been given by Marvel Studios regarding the series, the fact that Disney Plus now carries the original Daredevil series indicates that the studio is invested in Daredevil's future in the MCU.
The former "Netflix Marvel shows" (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher and The Defenders) are currently streaming as "The Defenders Saga" on Disney Plus.
