BABYMONSTER set to release their comeback single 'Stuck in the Middle' in February
Good news, fans of BABYMONSTER! YG Entertainment’s new girl group will have its first comeback as well as its first mini album to be released early this year.
The agency announced the group activities on their official YouTube channel on Sunday, Dec. 31.
The single, dubbed Stuck in the Middle, is set to be released on Feb. 1. "This song is not a hip-hop track. It's so fresh to me that I wonder if YG has ever released a song like this," said the agency’s founder and producer Yang Hyun-suk, adding that the concept is so new that listening to it feels like “being in a state of zero gravity of the universe.”
"The skills and unique colors of the members' vocals make me want to focus on even the smallest breath. It makes me focus intensely when listening," he added.
He also shared that the group would have its first mini-album slated to be released in April. More details about its tracks and concept are yet to be unveiled.
BABYMONSTER debuted in November 2024 with the single Batter Up as six members. Ahyeon, who was originally part of the lineup had to stop training due to health reasons; The founder said that it is unclear yet whether to include her in future group activities.
"It's still uncertain when Ahyeon will join so I will inform you publicly in due course," he said.
The rookie girl group currently consists of Chiquita, Pharita, Rami, Ruka Rora, and Asa.
