Bella Poarch gets personal in ‘INFERNO’ MV about past experience with sexual assault
Bella Poarch got personal in her latest music video, which she related to her past experience with sexual assault.
Set in a bar, the music video for INFERNO in collaboration with 21-year-old indie artist Sub Urban revolves around a dark situation that has left its mark on Poarch. “As a victim of sexual assault, this song and video mean a lot to me,” she wrote on YouTube. “This is something I haven’t been ready to share with you just yet. It’s very hard for me to talk about. But I’m ready now.”
The top-trending video follows the TikTok sensation as she deals with two men who spiked her drink. When they get to the elevator, she suddenly fights back her supposed attackers with superpowers and turns the entire lift into an inferno. “I decided to express myself by creating a song and video with Sub Urban based on how I wished my experience went. It’s a fantasy I wish I was true,” the Fil-Am singer explained.
Filipino stars Bretman Rock and Ivana Alawi also had their own cameo appearances in the MV, which has generated over six million views as of this writing. You may watch the powerful piece below:
