Space & Time Cube+: Stunning 720-degree holographic cave, engaging sensory games, and more
A trip to an art museum is one of the best ways to unwind and spark your creative juices.
Space & Time Cube+, the newly opened museum in the metro offers more than just simply staring at an artwork, they bring their guests into different “metaverse”—from the cosmos, wildlife, and the vast marine life which gives them an ordinary immersive art experience for both kids and adults.
Located in S Maison at Conrad Manila, the immersive art museum features 20 themed attractions such as stunning celestial bodies in the Wandering Planets room, the crystal matrix, and the one-of-a-kind 720° cave holographic technology.
Here’s a sneak peek at what to expect. Read on.
State-of-the-art illusory exhibits
Make sure your smartphones and cameras are fully charged because you would want to take snaps with the interactive exhibits around this museum as your background.
If you’re a solo visitor or do not have any tripods, there are attendants around the area who will be more than happy to take your photos.
Apart from the Wandering Planets room, one of the best places to take photos is in the Crystal Matrix. This space uses mirrored walls and ceilings along with cascading chandeliers to create an illusion of infinite space.
You must also not miss the Holographic Glasshouse which has a four-sided screen projection. Its stereophonic technology enhances the guest’s experience in the world of nature. Noises of wildlife and the gentle waves of the seas serve as your alternative for a nature fix.
There are even fun installations where you can get creative and do funny poses with your friends, like appearing to fall from a large staircase.
One of its highlights is the 720-degree holographic tunnel, which shows vivid videos of wildlife, marine life, cosmos, and more.
Multisensory activities
The museum encourages guests to get moving with its many sensory games—bust a move with the light dance game, plan your way through the reimagined Plants vs. Zombies maze, or stimulate your minds in the hunting game.
There's also a mirror maze, but remember to be careful—it can get really trippy.
If you’re tired of taking pictures, there is a drawing area where you can design your paper animals and have them projected on the large walls. You can even bring your paper home as a souvenir!
Another must-try is the 9D rail cinema where you can experience a combination of 3D visuals with special effects like moving seats, smoke, wind, and rain to make you feel like you're part of the action.
