‘The Flash’ premiere pushes through amid Ezra Miller's legal charges
Warner Bros expressed no desire to halt the release of The Flash despite film star Ezra Miller’s escalating reports of legal problems.
According to a report from Deadline, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav set down his choices for the million-dollar franchise: heavily pull back on promotions before the film’s 2023 release, relegate the premiere to streaming service applications like HBO Max and taking a “write-down,” or lean toward “making the move a hit” before dropping Miller if problems regarding the actor would not be straightened out.
Ezra Miller, who identifies as queer and nonbinary, had been making rounds on news headlines.
Last week, Miller was reportedly on the run after “legal papers were drawn up against them by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court” for a protection order after they were accused of allegedly grooming 18-year-old nonbinary Tokata Iron Eyes.
The nonbinary actor then deleted their Instagram account after posting a series of memes seemingly mocking the authorities about their whereabouts.
Another temporary harassment protection order was filed against Miller in Greenfield, Massachusetts for “acting inappropriately” toward a 12-year-old nonbinary child.
In the same report from Deadline, it stated that one source from the studio said the hope was for the Flash actor’s scandal to remain at a “low level” before the movie gets released next year.
The statement of Miller’s charges and allegations regarded as “low level” roused Twitter users in an outrage.
"LOW LEVEL"""??? THEY HAVE KIDNAPPED A CHILD. This is ghoulish," said Twitter user @aDillonDev.

"Assault, kidnapping, taunting the police while a fugitive, giving a minor LSD, lewd advances on a 12 year old, flashing a weapon...
What exactly does Waner Brothers consider 'low level' here?," chimed in user @AnsgarTOdinson.

Other fans made a dig at Miller for the allegations and compared the level of consequences Will Smith faced when he smacked Chris Rock during the Oscars.
Will Smith smacks a dude and gets blacklisted for a decade but Ezra Miller assualts multiple people, grooms children, and has now kidnapped someone and is on the run but his blockbuster still gets released?????????? https://t.co/Tu97We3Za1
