‘Per my last email’: Viral TikTok shows how to say ‘F.U.’ in the corporate world
Have you ever received a work message so polite it almost felt like a thinly-veiled insult? If so, then this TikTok trend is probably for you.
TikTok user Jenna Hushka (@jennahushka) first asked via Instagram Stories how people in the corporate world subtly say "F.U." to their coworkers. With the outpouring of answers, she proceeded to share her findings via TikTok.
"These responses were kind of concerning. So let me share my favorites," she narrated.
Hushka's scalding examples include:
- "Help me understand."
- "If you're still unsure, don't hesitate to reach out."
- "Hello, ______"
- "Let me take a step back and provide you with some background."
- And the ever-famous: "Per my aforementioned email."

The video has since garnered 2 million views, with Hushka posting a part two due to popular demand, promising to her 76k followers to "ask and I shall deliver."
