'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge' retro beat 'em-up game coming to PC, consoles
Prepare for a massive wave of nostalgia as Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are all returning for a retro-style beat 'em up game called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.
Inspired by the iconic 1987 cartoon series, the upcoming four-player co-op brawler is being developed by Streets of Rage 4 publisher Dotemu and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game creator Tribute Games.
The side-scrolling gorgeous brawler features classic full-color pixel art style environments similar to arcade classics Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Turtles in Time.
Armed with “outrageous ninja abilities,” Players will fight their way through “a breathless tour of iconic TMNT locations” like New York City and Dimension X and take on “tons of hellacious enemies” including classic foes like Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang and Shredder.
Here’s the official synopsis of the game:
With Bebop and Rocksteady assaulting Channel 6 and stealing super gnarly devices to support Krang and Shredder’s latest twisted plan, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge sees the Turtles battling across a righteous range of timeless TMNT locations. From Manhattan and Coney Island, to city rooftops and dank sewers, help the fearsome foursome trounce Foot Soldiers, Triceraton Warriors, and Rock Troops all the way to Dimension X!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is coming to unspecified consoles and PCs. However, a release date has yet to be announced.
