Coldplay is making its Filipino program debut on 'ASAP' this July 11
British rock band Coldplay is set debut on primetime Philippine TV with a performance for ASAP: Natin ‘To this Sunday, July 11.
The news was first announced on the ASAP social media handles with a video of frontman Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland inviting Filipinos to watch the show.
“Hi, I'm Chris and this is Jonny, saying hello to everyone listening in the Philippines," Chris began.
“Please catch our latest single, Higher Power,” Johnny continued.
Chris went on to thank ASAP and the Kapamilyas for their upcoming performance.

The band also promoted the guesting through their official Facebook page on Wednesday, July 7, with custom settings targeted for their Filipino audience.
Their caption reads: "Hello Kapamilya! The band will be performing Higher Power for ASAP Natin To LIVE this Sunday, July 11, 12 NN on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5. Please watch out for it - it's a special one!"
The post now has over 53,000 reactions and 305 shares.
Higher Power was released on May, 2021. It's yet to be announced if the band will be performing via video livestream or on the ASAP stage.
Coldplay last performed in the Philippines in April of 2017 for their A Head Full of Dreams Tour.
