iPhone 12 Phl prices are here; Red version funds global COVID-19 fight

The wait is over for Apple fans as official prices for the iPhone 12 lineup are finally here.

There are a lot of models to choose from, but basically pricing starts at P43,990 for the iPhone 12 mini and it's P62,990 for the Pro model. From there it's down to a choice of capacity, and which version and feature set is right for you.

Let's break down the prices for each model.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini

The first and second tier of iPhone 12s are basically what everyone will be going for. The iPhone mini is the smallest and most affordable of the entire series with a 5.4-inch OLED display and dual cameras. For just a bit more, the "regular" iPhone 12 sports a much larger 6.1-inch OLED display.

With (PRODUCT)^RED, Apple donates a portion of each sale to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. On this instance and exclusive to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, the proceeds from each sale of the (PRODUCT)^RED version from now until Dec. 31 will go to the Global Fund's COVID-19 Response.

This version sports the color red with a special (PRODUCT)^RED logo on the back case.

iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max

Now, let's check out the big boys in the "Pro" lineup. The iPhone 12 Pro sports the same size 6.1-inch OLED display, but has a more robust feature set within a stainless steel frame and three cameras. The iPhone 12 Pro Max has the biggest screen of the entire lineup with a 6.7-inch OLED.
