‘Sex Education’ Season 3 gets first trailer
Netflix on Monday released the first trailer for the upcoming third season of Sex Education which featured an advertising video for Moordale.
In the trailer, the cast with the new headmistress of Moordale, Hope (Jemma Kirke), on the lead, tries to finish filming a promotional video for prospective new students to “choose Moordale.”
Hope will replace Mr. Groff (Alistair Petrie) who is under administrative leave but is seen hiding behind the bushes in the trailer.
Following the release, some fans, however, noticed the absence of Dr. Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson) in the trailer.
Along with Kirke, the new cast includes Jason Isaacs (Peter Groff, Mr. Groff’s more successful/less modest older brother), recording artist Dua Saleh (Cal, a nonbinary student who will clash with Hope) who will be making their acting debut, and Indra Ové (Anna, Elsie's foster mother).
The first trailer did not reveal much about the storyline. The official synopsis for the next season reads:
“It’s a new year, Otis is having casual sex, Eric and Adam are official, and Jean has a baby on the way. Meanwhile, new headteacher Hope tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee discovers feminism, Jackson gets a crush and a lost voicemail still looms. Prepare for commitment animals, alien phenomena, vulva cupcakes, and much more of Madam Groff.”
Reopening doors this Sept. 17, Sex Education Season 3 will arrive on Netflix with eight episodes.
