Check out the official teaser trailer for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness from the official Netflix YouTube channel:
One of the exciting things about the trailer is right at the beginning, as we see the unmistakable silhouette of none other than fan-favorite Claire Redfield. A few seconds later, we get a glimpse of a decidedly dapper-looking Leon S. Kennedy entering the scene.
The YouTube description reads: "Based on the Capcom video game franchise, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is a horror series with a sci-fi twist. Coming 2021 only on Netflix."
The news first broke on September 26 from a now deleted tweet from the Netflix Portugal account. A day later, @NXonNetflix – the sci-fi and anime brand of Netflix – finally tweeted out the "official" trailer for the upcoming CGI anime series.
No other details have been revealed as of this writing.
