Tesla has been making the rounds online since a board-up for it was spotted at Uptown Parade in Bonifacio Global City early this week. It’s set to be its first showroom in the country and the fourth in Southeast Asia.
Named after Serbian American inventor Nikola Tesla, the electric vehicle giant was founded by American entrepreneurs Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning in 2003. Musk has been a member of the Board since April 2004 and has been its Chief Executive Officer since October 2008.
The company focuses on "building a world powered by solar energy, running on batteries and transported by electric vehicles.”
