Netflix’s live-action ‘Cowboy Bebop’ is streaming this fall
Spike Spiegel and the gang’s jump to live-action is coming soon.
During the second day of Geeked Week, Netflix announces that the live-action Cowboy Bebop series is set to premiere in the fall. Yoko Kanno, the anime’s original composer, is also returning to score music for the adaptation.
“There’s no Bebop without Yoko,” Netflix says in the teaser video. She’s the brilliant mind behind the original show’s iconic theme song, Tank!, which the cast is seen grooving to.

The series stars John Cho as Spike, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, and Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black. Cho seems to be getting into his character well, sporting the same crazy hair as Spike’s.
